Funding Den

A funding event for Sedgemoor based community projects.

Join us at our fun 'Dragons Den' style event, to pitch your community project to a live audience. If successful, you could walk away with up to £10,000!

You can apply for between £300 and £10,000 to pay for things such as equipment, one-off events, training costs, volunteer expenses, running costs and transport.

Step 1

It's easy to apply -  download and complete the application form and return it to, or by post to the address at the bottom of this page. The deadline for applications is Friday 1st December.

Step 2

If you are shortlisted, we'll let you know by Thursday 14th December 2017. You will then be asked to present at our 'Pitch Your Project' event. Prior to this, we will be holding a pitching workshop, for anyone who would like some help with their presentation.

Step 3

You will then deliver your presentation to a live audience at the Funding Den on Tuesday 30th January 2018. Audience members will vote for their favourite three projects; the ones they feel will really benefit their community. If your project is successful, you could be awarded a Big Lottery grant of up to £10,000!
