Wells Recreation Ground Trust have just been successful in securing a £9,300 grant from Heritage Lottery Fund to develop The Bishop’s Barn in Wells.
They are seeking to appoint an appropriate consultant to scope and measure the market for community activity in Wells, providing trustees with:
- A list of venues to hire in Wells – their capacity, staff structure, hire costs and usage
- An analysis of the scale and scope of community and artistic provision in Wells exploring health and wellbeing activities, cultural events, weddings and conferences
- An exploration of current ‘gaps’ in the market in Wells and key issues identified in our community survey such as provision for teenagers and young children in the city and facilitating a roundtable discussion with key groups and trustees
