Last year marked the 25 year anniversary of the founding of SWEDA, which began it's life in 1992 under the name of MEDA, run by a group of community minded people.
For 25 years, SWEDA have been supporting people affected by eating disorders across Somerset and Wessex, whether they are suffering from an eating disorder or are caring for someone who does.
For #Reachout June 2018, here is a reminder of the brilliant services available from SWEDA:
These are one off sessions for people affected by an eating disorder or for anyone caring for someone with a eating disorder.
A self help group to help anyone suffering from an eating disorder on the first Wednesday of every month.
A 9 week programme for people in recovery. Each is a 2 hour session where you learn different skills.
SWEDA offers support to students aged 16 and above in all colleges across Somerset.
Giving you the opportunities to explore your issues around eating disorders.
Training packages available run from 1 hour up to a full day and can be carried out at your place of work or at their training room in Shepton Mallet.
