Grant-Writing Masterclass

This two-hour training session will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge to confidently navigate the grant-writing process.

Learn to articulate your organisation’s needs, demonstrate impact, and write clear, concise and persuasive applications. We’ll explore key elements like evidencing need, describing your intervention and highlighting your USP, as well as defining measurable outcomes and establishing robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

Who is it for?

This session is aimed at those volunteering with or working for VCFSE groups or organisations in Somerset who may be responsible for fundraising and income generation.

About the trainer

Your trainer for this session will be Dr Miranda Millan, Funding and Enterprise Consultant for Spark Somerset. Miranda has fundraised millions of pounds for third sector organisations. With over a decade of experience as a Company Director, Governor and Chair of Trustees, she has successfully designed and delivered training, led campaigns, and been responsible for charity management and governance.

This training is offered as part of a project that is being funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Free tickets are solely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset.
