Wivey Kitchen are looking for a new Coordinator to help with the effective delivery of their projects, and support the development of new ones that help support the community.
Wivey Kitchen believe that people enjoy better physical and mental health when they have access to healthy, tasty and affordable food. Using quality ingredients that would otherwise go to landfill and surplus produce from local growers and charities, their team of volunteers meet weekly to prepare free, individual dishes, including soups, main courses and desserts.
The charity are now looking for someone to help coordinate and support the operation of Wivey Kitchen’s meals and pantry services and assist in the development of future projects that will increase the support provided for the local communities.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in an administration or customer service role, as well as first-class organisational and communication skills. The role includes a varied range of activities including working with Trustees to submit funding applications, and liaising with other local organisations and local suppliers that work with the Kitchen.
