Focusing on MORE – Somerset Nutrition Training

Date: Tuesday, 21 January

Free nutrition and healthy eating workshops for workforces in Somerset.

Join Lesley Harper (Registered Dietitian, Somerset ICB) and Tamara Bennett (Registered AfN Public Health Nutritionist, Somerset Council) for a free, half-day workshop to gain the knowledge and skills to support a compassionate and positive approach to healthier eating for health gain.

You’ll learn what the gut microbiome is, why it’s important, and how to eat more of what our gut thrives on. You’ll also learn the barriers to healthier eating and the practical steps and resources available to overcome them, and why a compassionate approach to nutrition matters.

Staff who work within the health and public sector in Somerset – including NHS staff, teachers, school support workers, foster teams, adult social care and those working in voluntary and community sector organisations – are all welcome to attend.
