Free digital advice and drop-ins

We are working with community spaces to set up and run free Digital Cafés, hubs and drop ins across the county. Run by our friendly and supportive team of volunteer Digital Champions, they are free to attend and open to people of all ages and abilities.

Digital Cafés can provide several benefits:

Support people to use digital devices safely and build their confidence
Help people to access digital services and support to improve their health and wellbeing
Facilitate access to devices and free data.

The Digital Café has become a beacon of inclusivity, breaking down barriers and creating an environment where everyone, regardless of age or background, can thrive in the digital landscape.

Bridgwater – the Town Hall, every Tuesday from 10am-12pm
Bridgwater – ReCreation Community Hub, every Friday from 12-2pm
Burnham-on-Sea – the Waffle Hub at the Methodist Church on College Street, every Monday from 12-2pm, Tuesday from 12-2pm and Wednesday from 12-3pm
Chard – Eleos Café, every Friday from 10am-12pm
Chard* – the Library, every other Friday from 10-11:30am
Crewkerne* – the Library, every Friday from 10am-12pm
Dulverton – Fishers Mead Retirement Housing Community Centre, every Thursday from 10:30am-12:30pm
Frome – Cheese & Grain, every Thursday from 10am-12pm
Frome* – Medical Centre, every Tuesday from 10am-12pm, and every Thursday from 4pm-6pm
Glastonbury – St. John’s Church, every Monday from 10am-12pm

Taunton – Taunton Minster (formerly St. Mary Magdalene Church), every Wednesday from 10am-12pm
Taunton* – Priorswood Community Centre, every Wednesday from 1:30-3:30pm (£2 charge for refreshments)
