Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum

Date: Wednesday, 30 April

Volunteer Coordinators are often the sole person within their organisation with responsibility for volunteers.

We invite you to join us at our Volunteer Coordinators’ Forum for the opportunity to meet people with a similar role, network, and share peer support.

During this forum, we will explore key EDI terms, their meanings, and their use in volunteering. Understanding terminology is a key step in creating inclusive practices and meaningful change, helping us engage effectively.

This interactive session offers a chance to:

  • Clarify essential EDI and Cultural Competency terms
  • Discuss how these terms enhance inclusivity in volunteering
  • Share experiences and shape a strategy celebrating diversity and skills

Join us to help build an inclusive volunteering environment that values understanding, respect, and diversity.

Tickets to this event are freely available to anybody who manages or coordinates volunteers in Somerset, whether in a paid or voluntary capacity.
