Rethink Mental Illness are looking for a Co-production Officer to work with those who have first-hand experience of mental ill-health to shape services in Somerset.

Rethink Mental Illness (Rethink) are a leading charity providing mental health services in England. They support thousands of people through their groups, services, policy, campaigns and advice and information. 

They are also a core member of Open Mental Health, an alliance of mental health organisations working together to ensure that there is no wrong door for anyone in the county to access mental health services.

A key principle of the approach has been to work with Experts by Experience to co-produce services which truly meet the need.

Rethink are looking for a Co-production Officer who will help the Open Mental Health Co-production team deliver co-production objectives in Somerset.

The post-holder will organise activities, support Experts by Experience, and contribute to transforming mental health services. They will help facilitate meetings, manage related administrative tasks, and collaborate with Rethink colleagues and partners, sharing insights to enhance co-production practices.
