The National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF) are a distributor of National Lottery funding, with teams all over the UK working as the main point of contact for local communities.

The charity are seeking a Funding Officer to support their work in Somerset, as well as the Swindon, Wiltshire and Dorset areas.  

The post-holder will ideally have excellent knowledge of the area, and will assess applications for funding with this in mind. They will support local people and communities, harnessing the experience of customers as well as stakeholders to improve NLCF’s grant making and help inform decisions. They will also be expected to work remotely, visiting locations across the South West when required.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills. They will also be able to build, develop and promote effective relationships with colleagues, community organisations and other external agencies with a strong commitment to equity and inclusion.
