Could you be the Expert by Experience Co-Chair that Open Mental Health are looking for?

Open Mental Health (OMH) are an alliance of organisations across Somerset with a shared ambition: ensuring that people living with mental health challenges get the right help at the right time.

They are looking for an Expert by Experience Independent Co-Chair to champion the voice of lived experience, and act as an ambassador for the Somerset OMH VCSE alliance.

The successful candidate will have lived experience of mental illness, or experience as a carer to someone that has, that will help shape the future of mental health provision.

Working closely with their Partnership Board, the post-holder will ensure the voice of lived experience remains central to everything that OMH does. From championing diversity and inclusion to collaborating with partners across sectors, the Co-Chair’s contributions will make an impact on people living with mental ill health.
