Philanthropy Manager (Trusts & Major Gifts)

Closing date: Sunday, 8 December

St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Philanthropy Manager to join their exceptional team of fundraisers and communication professionals.

St Margaret’s Hospice Care help patients, families and carers across Somerset facing a life-limiting illness.

2025 sees the charity celebrate their 45th anniversary, and the launch of their new five-year strategy. At the heart of this is the need to challenge perceptions and build greater awareness of what hospice care is today.

This is where you come in!

The Philanthropy Manager will take the lead in developing a compelling case for support. By telling the hospice’s story and articulating their new strategic plan, you will help to secure five and six figure multi-year funding.

The successful candidate will play a key role in engaging with funders and supporters who are passionate about safeguarding hospice care for the local community. They will steward existing supporters, raise awareness of the hospice’s work, and generate vital funds for the charity’s clinical services. They will be adept and building relationships, be a skilled project manager, and be willing to organise and host solicitation and supporter events.

A full job description and details on how you can apply can be found by visiting the St. Margaret’s Hospice website.
