Crewkerne Community Kitchen (CCK) is a Community Interest Company that runs several projects in the town. They distribute food supermarkets can’t sell, run a community cooking group, and a Chat Café – all with the help of a team of volunteers.
The organisation are now seeking a freelance Project Coordinator to support them as they professionalise and move into the future.
The post-holder will be required to coordinate and deliver projects run by CCK, and lead on the planning of inclusive activities, their partnerships and volunteer network, and book-keeping.
They will also be responsible for monitoring the key outcomes from all activities, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard, and within the allotted timescale and budget.
The successful candidate will have experience in project planning and delivery, ideally in a small not-for-profit or community-focused organisation or group. They will also be able to relate to and motivate diverse range of individuals, including volunteers, people with varying needs, and those that live in disadvantaged neighbourhoods.
