Come along to this free workshop to find out about the new Wellbeing Sedgemoor Directory and learn how to signpost others to health and wellbeing support.
Community Connectors play an important role in connecting people with the support available to them in their communities.
Anybody who lives or works in Sedgemoor can be a Community Connector. It’s not a formal role and won’t take up lots of your time. It’s about developing your knowledge of what local health and wellbeing support is available and sharing that information when appropriate.
This workshop is suitable for anybody who lives and/or works in Sedgemoor and would like to learn how to help others in their day-to-day life. It will be particularly useful for voluntary organisations, volunteers, people who work in health and social care and anybody else in a public-facing role.
On the agenda:
- An overview of Wellbeing Sedgemoor
- What support is available?
- Health and wellbeing and its wider determinants
- How to signpost others to health and wellbeing support
- Q & A session
Takes place Wednesday 7th July, 2pm to 3:30p via Zoom. Find out more and book a space here.
