Talking Cafes

The Talking Cafés provide a space for people to come and find out about local activities and support that could help them to feel better.

At our Talking Cafes, guests can find out about local activities, support groups and services that could support their health and wellbeing, as well as the latest volunteering opportunities. It's a great way to find out what's going on in the community, meet new people, and make new friends!

The Talking Cafes are free to attend, and everybody is welcome, just buy your own drinks! Come and see us at:


Birchfield Community Cafe

Yarlington Community Hub, St. John’s Road, BA21 5QA, from 10:30am to 12:30pm on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month.


Monks Yard Talking Cafe

Monks Yard, near Ilminster, TA19 9PY, from 10am to 11:30am on the first Tuesday of each month.


Queen Camel Talking Cafe

Village Cafe in the Village Hall, BA22 7NF, from 10:30am to 12:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month. Supported by Yarlington Housing Group.


Castle Cary Talking Cafe

The George Hotel, Castle Cary, BA7 7AH, from 10am to 12pm on the second Tuesday of each month. In partnership with the Milbrook Surgery Health Coaches.


Chard Community Cafe

Bishops Court, Chard, TA20 2BG, from 10.30am to 12.30pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Supported by Yarlington Housing Group
