This session will provide an overview of all the essentials that should be in place in your organisation to show sound financial management to funders and partners, and to help you to run the organisation efficiently and easily.
We will cover topics such as bank accounts and financial controls, essential financial documents and processes, provide templates and examples you can take away.
Who is it for?
This session is suitable for anyone who works or volunteers for a VCFSE organisation (including community interest companies, community benefit societies and unincorporated organisations) and would like to learn more about effective financial management and budgeting.
About the trainer
Your trainer for this session will be Louise Treacher. Louise has worked in the community and sports development sector for over 30 years and now runs her own consultancy business supporting profit for purpose organisations to find and secure funding and to become more financially sustainable. Previously Head of Investment for Sport England with responsibility for lottery and exchequer funding, she has also worked for local authorities and educational establishments and fulfilled voluntary roles as a Director of a CIC and a Trustee. She is passionate about social enterprise, income diversification and her home county of Somerset.
