Lunch & Learn: Canva for Small Charities

Canva is a free-to-use online graphic design tool. In this one-hour Lunch & Learn session, you’ll discover how to access Canva’s non-profit programme and unlock a wealth of free resources.

Let us walk you through the platform’s user-friendly interface, exploring its tools and library of templates. We’ll also share some tips and ideas for designing compelling social media graphics, engaging presentations and impactful fundraising materials.

Who is it for?

This session is aimed at those volunteering with or working for VCFSE groups or organisations in Somerset who may be responsible for marketing and promotion and fundraising.

About the trainer

Your trainer for this session will be Dr Miranda Millan, Funding and Enterprise Consultant for Spark Somerset. Miranda has successfully fundraised millions of pounds for third sector organisations. With over a decade of experience as a Company Director, Governor and Chair of Trustees, she has successfully designed and delivered training, led campaigns, and been responsible for charity management and governance.

This training is offered as part of a project that is being funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund. Free tickets are solely available to VCFSE staff and volunteers from organisations operating in Somerset.
