ILM Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management
For individuals who wish to gain a formal qualification and:
- Are just starting out in a management and leadership role
- Are in post and keen to refresh and sharpen their skills
Tutor led sessions: Three virtual sessions – Wednesday 5 June, Tuesday 2 July & Thursday 5 September
Self-directed Study: Three marked assignments of 2,500 words each (one per module)
Module 1: Understand how to establish an effective team (relationships and team building)
Module 2: Understanding how to motivate and improve performance (motivation)
Module 3: Understanding the communication process in the workplace
Costs: There are 11 subsided places available. Subsidy is based on an organisation’s annual income and range from 65%-90%. Cost without subsidy is £954 including VAT.
Skills Bootcamp – Leadership & Management
For individuals not seeking an accredited qualification who are new or existing managers wishing to develop or refresh their skills.
Tutor led sessions: Ten in-person training days at the iAreo Centre, Yeovil (commencing Thursday 5 September 2024)
Self-directed Study: Online action and accountability workshops (one per module)
Module 1: Understanding self and others
Module 2: Personality preferences
Module 3: Effective Communication
Module 4: Dealing with difficult conversations, situations, or people
Module 5: Traits and characteristics of leader and manager
Module 6: Developing culture
Module 7: Team working
Module 8: Inducting and developing staff
Module 9: Running effective meetings
Module 10: Coaching and mentoring in the workplace
Costs: There are 14 subsidised places available. Subsidy is based on an organisation’s annual income and range from 25%-75%. Cost per learner without subsidy is £300.
