The GLADE Centre has been successful in securing funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver the ‘A Place Called Home‘ project, working with diverse communities across Somerset.
The Heritage Associates will help The GLADE Centre to widen the project’s reach by inspiring new conversations around heritage and intercultural understanding in the context of home and community.
The successful candidates will carry out delivery using participatory and interactive and reflective methodology within the Connect-Challenge-Change framework that The GLADE Centre has developed.
Reporting to the Project Lead, Heritage Associates will work for around half a day a week (or the equivalent) starting 1 October 2024 and ending by 31 January 2026. The annual salary is £28k (full time equivalent).
The role involves traveling within Somerset and attending training sessions in Bridgwater, Taunton, and other locations in the county. Your primary workplace will be the GLADE Centre in Bridgwater, however flexible working arrangements will be considered.
